He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Chase and Verdie Chase (Shepherd); his sister Sylvia Thornbrugh; his brother-in-law Gene Haeg; and his nephew Russ Thornbrugh.
He is survived by: his friend Carol McCormac; his children, Bryan Chase (Kristi Masterson) of St. Maries, Brent Chase (Shizuka) of Honolulu, HI, Dustin Chase (Jamie) of Hayden, ID and Nik Chase (Natsumi) of Honolulu, HI; his sister Dixie Haeg of St. Maries; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Thornbrugh, Rick Haeg, Heidi White, Cindi Stevenson and Terri Hudson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
