She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett; her adoptive father Samuel (Thelma Collett); her former spouses, ElRoy Leonard and Jerry Skinner; her children, Michelle Allred, Lorraine Torres (Ron Orr) and Brandon Leonard (Jackie); and her great grandchild Avery Kamachi. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
