He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cyrus "Cy" and Vera Broadbent Young; his former wife Wanola P. Haws; his daughter Tori C. Young; his brother Dee Young; and his son-in-law Bob Otto.

He is survived by: his children, Jayann Moon (Dean), Wendy "Dusty" Otto and Brian Young (Angie).
