He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Yvonne Rankin of Ammon, ID; and his children, Mitchell Lynn Rankin of Idaho Falls, ID and Susan Yvonne Hidalgo (Robert John) of Idaho Falls, ID. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
