He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer LaVar Palmer and Emma Lou Stokes Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Brandy Nicole Browning (Cody) of Draper, UT, Stephanie Stoops (Jon) of Boise, ID, Jeremy Joe Palmer of Nampa, ID and Analicia Brennan of Bluffdale, UT; and his siblings, Mikele LaVar Palmer (Carrie) of Moreland, ID, Daurel Palmer (Tammy) of Idaho Falls, ID, Brett Charles Palmer (Tessa) of Buckeye, AZ, Kenneth John Palmer (Emily) of Preston, ID and Suzanne Palmer of Nampa, ID. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
