She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Waddell and Muriel Waddell; her sister Beth Elliot; and her former husband Lowell B. Nelson of St. Anthony. She is survived by: her husband Elden Hanson; her sisters, Margaret Greenhalgh and Jean Clark of Idaho Falls; her children, Richard Hansen of St. Anthony, Lois Richman (Mike) of Ammon, Cheryl Morris (Thom) of St. Anthony and Marcia Marsolek (Steve) of Herriman; her stepdaughter Charlotte Baum (Dennis) of Kuna; her son Lynn Hansen (Kay); and her grandson Jeff L. Baum of Washington. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
