He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Hunter and John Thomas; his wife Sarah Esther Hunter; and his siblings, Margaret Alice McLean (Hunter) of Paul, Jack Hunter (Betty) of Albion and Jim Hunter (Delila) of Rupert, Idaho..
He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Hunter (Mary Carol) of Juneau, Gary Hunter (Mary Kay) of Simpsonville, SC, Theodore "Ted" Hunter (Jan), Edward Hunter (Crystal) of Centerville and Troy Robertson (Kandi) of So. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rupert Stake Center (324 E 18th St, Rupert, ID 83350).
