With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Deforrest Girten Jr. of Rupert, Idaho, born in Fort Washakie, Wyoming, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his sister Patina Ann Girten; and his niece Miska Whitehawk. He is survived by: his wife Terry Kay Lester; his children, Cassandra Mack Tobin (Sean), Amber Girten (Tad) and Robert Girten III (Erica); and his sisters, Vida, Nunes and Venita Covarrupias. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
