He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Murphy and Joey Blanche Ellis; his son Patrick K Murphy; his brother William Murphy (Bill); and his parents-in-law, Tom Kenley and Dorothy Wilkinson Kenley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kenley Murphy; and his children, Carol Hellwig (Chris) of Nampa, Christine Ward of Declo and Tom Murphy (Heather) of Rupert. He is also survived by seven grandsons, six granddaughters, seven great grandsons, three great granddaughters, eight nephews, and five nieces.
