He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Peterson and Lola Tillman Peterson; his brother Donny; and his grandmother Sylwester. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lou, Christene Joy Bolland (Paul) and Victor Roy Peterson (Mechelle); and his wife Mary. He is also survived by three children, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
