He was predeceased by: his parents, Parley Bennett (Pat) and Lucille Joan Sertic; and his siblings, Gordon Lynn Bennett (Joan), Patricia Ann Bennett and Mark James Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Alta Louise Bennett; his children, Rodney James Bennett (Colleen) and Deborah Jean Bennett; and his stepsons, Curt Peterson and Scott Peterson (Tami). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
