He was predeceased by: his parents, Evalyn Phillips and Eugene Phillips; and his brother Lester Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughters, Stacie Rettew and Kimberley Parzuchowski; his stepdaughter Linda Gaydusec; his grandchildren, Brandon, Briana, Morgan, Cheyanne, Izabel, Tristan and Tomas; his great grandchild Skyson; his siblings, David, Joe, Ed, Sharon and Louise; and his sister-in-law Frances. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Mini-Cassia Veterans.
