He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Christensen and Elva Sylvia Nelson Christensen; his friend Russel Hawkes; and his siblings, Norma Christensen, Verla Lancaster (Murk), Mary Jo Stephenson (Garth), Ronald Christensen (Ina), Merlon Christensen (Roma) and Norman Christensen.
He is survived by: his daughters, LaDawn and Molly Jo; his wife Pati; his sons, Val Christensen (Karen) and Clay Christensen; his grandchildren, Sean Christensen (Katie), Mike Christensen (Brooke), Seth Christensen, Marc Christensen (Becky), Sydney James (Kyle), Jacqueline Christensen and Michelle Wangerzyn Christensen; and his sister Arlene Christensen Skeem. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
