It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfonso Calderon Castro of Rupert, Idaho, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his brother David Calderon; his wife Ernestina Almaraz Chairez; and his children, Josie Nevarez (David), Herlinda Mesa, David Calderon (Soledad), Mario Calderon (Wendy) and Patricia Calderon. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
