With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Clair Hale (Rupert, Idaho), born in Pocatello, Idaho, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alan Clair Hale to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his children, Virginia (Kevin Jones) and Martel (Eva-Lu); and his brothers, Gerald, Verle, Norman, Garen, Leon and James.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his sons, Randall (Janet) and Kelly (Mary-Margaret). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

After retiring from teaching, Alan actively participated in the Mt. Harrison Heritage Foundation, serving on the Board of Directors and performing in the production of numerous musicals and symphony concerts.
