It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evan D Yazzie of Ririe, Idaho, born in Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woody Raymond Yazzie and Alice LaJuan Ricks Yazzie; his sister Pamela Yazzie-Grover; and his brothers-in-law, Reed Grover and Donald Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Yazzie (James Thompson) of Cave Creek, AZ, Emily Yazzie (John Potucek) of Ogden, Kelsea Thomas (Christopher) of Layton, Katelin Young (Tyler) of Longview and Tyler Yazzie (Erika Ailes) of Riverside; and his sisters, Julia Fagnant (Kenneth) and Nadine Peterson of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
