He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted D'Aversa and Mary Lou Istvan. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his siblings, Teddi Kluender (Frank) and Mike D'Aversa; his siblings-in-law, Andy Smetanka (Joanna) and Rachel Smetanka; his nephews, Asa and Axel; and his niece Iia.
