With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcus Walker Barnes of Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forrest Walker Barnes and Ruth Elzada Sanders; his wife Joan Bates; and his children, Deborah Hathaway (John), Joni Hansen (David), Lora Stanger (Jed), Dena Scoville (Len), Forrest Barnes (Glenda), Mark Barnes (Tereena), John Barnes (Heather), Ruth Hammar (Bryan), David Barnes (Tricia) and Paul Barnes (Susie). He was also cherished by grandchildren and 102 great grandchildren and currently one great, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, friends who wish, are invited to make a donation to their local ward missionary fund.
