She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Patrick "Harry" and Priscilla Grace Hammon Thornton; and her siblings, Donna Madsen, Jean Barrow and Glen Thornton.

She is survived by: her husband Evan E. Godfrey; and her child Keith (Linda) of Ammon, ID. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
