He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Smith Burnside; his significant other Janice Lynn Jones; his son Brandon Joe Burnside; his father Doyle Burnside; his niece Jeannie Marie Burnside; and his great grandchildren, Maelee Joe Alexander and Elisabeth Mae Rinehart.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Rinehart (Duane) of St. Anthony, Autumn Bassett (Kim) of St. Anthony, Bryan Burnside of Rigby, Brett "Chief" Burnside (Kyle) of Federal Heights, CO and Dustin Burnside of Ririe; and his siblings, Darlean McNiel (Kent) of Rigby, Bellva Smith (Buzz Gary) of Rigby, DeAnna Egan (Brion) of Dubois, DiAnna Ritter (Larry) of Ririe, Clayton "Moe" Burnside (Lorane) and Cleve Burnside (Jeannie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
