He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sams and Grace Sams; and his son John. He is survived by: his wife Milly Reinsch; his daughters, Kaysi Hubsmith (Rod) and Tina Sams; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Morgan, Anthony, Cassandra and Rich. He is also survived by his ten great grandchildren.
