He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Newton Lauder and Eva Irene Davenport; his wife Amy Valerie Sewell; his son James Verlan Lauder; and his sons-in-law, Byron Grant Jensen and Wesley James Howe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lana Rae Jensen, Kristine Luke (Randy), Valerie Amy Lauder of Rexburg and Marlys Birch; and his brothers, Eldred Lauder (Marilyn), Veldon Lauder and DaVon Lauder (Gloria) of Bountiful, UT. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
