It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Cornelius (Rexburg, Idaho), who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Rasmussen and Carlos Rasmussen; her brother Gary Franklin; her nieces, Jennifer Cone and Stephny Bassett; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanine Waisaith, David Cone and Don Cornelius.
She is survived by: her husband Merrill; her children, Gregory Cornelius (Mary Ford), Christopher Cornelius (Rhonda), Kim Melling (David), Janel Rhodes (Clay), Michael Cornelius, Sharyl Cornelius (Dennis Callaway) and Catherine Cornelius (Andrew Jones); and her siblings, Larry Rasmusssen, Suzanne Cone and Diane Bassett. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
