It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Madsen of Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reese Madsen and Faye Madsen; his son Travis; his siblings, Larry, Elaine and Darlene; his stepson David Rolfe; and his great grandchild Lucy Jane Hansen.
He is survived by: his former wife Patrica Ostler; his children, Jennifer (Todd Dustin), Soren (Pili) and Hans (Mindy); his wife Dianne Madsen of Rexburg; his brother Jim Madsen (Becky); his sister-in-law Carol Madsen; and his children, Shawna Madsen, Keri (Derek Anderson) and Josh Rolfe (Pam). He is also survived by 40 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
