It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loretta Jean Cheney (Rexburg, Idaho), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley John Helser and Marjorie Frances Bronkey; her former husband Richard H. Merrow; her husband Charles Ord Woodward; her siblings, Marilyn Joyce Green, Nadine Marie Helser and Stanley George Helser (Pam); and her children, Roxanne Marie Hartley (George) and Darren Matthew Merrow (Shelly). She was also cherished by children.

In lieu of flowers, Loretta requested that mourners donate to the Rinehart Clinic in Wheeler, Oregon.
