With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lane Sommer (Rexburg, Idaho), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lane left this world on January 14, 2025 at the age of 59, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his father Reed Sommer. He is survived by: his mother Marie Sommer; his wife Shauna Sommer; his siblings, Steven Sommer, Laurel Robinson (Jay) and Marcene Blunck (Don); his children, Tyler Sommer (Laura), Mitchell Sommer (Analyn), Derek Sommer (McKinley), Kyle Sommer (Leah), Ashten Riding (Kovi) and Traegan Sommer (Kyleigh); and his stepchildren, Justin Hemsley (Suzi), Ryan Hemsley (Tana), Brandon Hemsley (Melissa), Crystal Murri and Brittney Peterson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren (and counting), and 10 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Hibbard Church (2001 N 3000 W, Rexburg, ID 83440).
