It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Sommer of Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sommer and Alice Sommer (Hendricks); his spouse Emmeli Schaffner; his children, Jack N. (Annette) of Rexburg, Thane (Carolyn) of Grover, Shawn (Shirleen) of Rigby, Michel Walker (Ryan) of Billings, Montana, Raymond (late Mindy) of Hibbard and Jared (Katie) of Hibbard; his close friend Emmeli; and his daughter-in-law Mindy. He was also cherished by 48 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
