He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mona Beard, Aaron and Leon; his wife Coila; and his children, Louise, Carol, John and Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo; his children, Sharlene Smith (Ronnie), Kevin (Marilyn), Sandi Hemming (Bruce), Marsha Burdick (Dean), Barbara Scott (Dale) and Rob Barker (Kally); and also, Lucille Beard and Elmer Beard. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
