He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Milgate Sharp and Ada Caroline Smith Sharp; his brother Wayne; his niece LeeAnn Sharp Parrish; and his son-in-law Gordon Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn; his daughters, Kathy Cole (Gordon), Michelle Johnson, Monica Hansen (Kevin) and Chantelle Steiner (Nathan); his brother Dean Sharp (Diane); and his sister-in-law Glenda Sharp (Wayne). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
