He was predeceased by: his parents, John Daniel Lewis of Minnesota and Marie Newman of Germany; and his siblings, Ethel Amundson, Virginia Andersen, John Lewis, Mason Lewis and Hugh Dwight Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Rae Johnson (Jim Smith) of Oklahoma, Robin Pena (Greg Pata) of Spokane Washington, Jeremy Lewis (Gae) of Newport and Darren Lewis (Kara) of Ririe Idaho; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Lewis. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
