DeVerl Stoddard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 85, DeVerl Stoddard (Rexburg, Idaho), born in Parker, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As DeVerl departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved DeVerl. Though DeVerl may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Black Stoddard and Marion Leslie Stoddard; and his grandchildren, Cade Stoddard and Broc Stoddard. He is survived by: his wife Patty Peterson; and his sons, Greg (Tiffnie Stoddard), Jed (Angie Stoddard), Chris (Celeste Stoddard), Daniel (Brooke Stoddard) and Jon (Jordan Stoddard). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Egin Bench Ward (1633 E 400 N, St Anthony, ID 83445). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Egin Bench LDS Chapel (1633 E 400 N, St Anthony, ID 83445).
