He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lelen and Martha Lavon Weekes (Galbraith); his sisters, Clea Briggs, Delpha Beck, Artella Schneiter, Eva Hubbard, Anita Peterson, Leah Andersen and Maxine Hope (Junior Weekes); his grandsons, Joseph, Lelen and Jace; and his great grandchild Wyatt.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Purser; and his children, Rickie G. Weekes (Hootie Miller) of Havre Montana, Brenda Lee Downs (Farrel) of Hamer, Rodney D. Weekes (Shirley) of Plano, Brent L. Weekes (Laura) of Helena, Shawna Leonard (Boyd) of Hamer and SueAnn Messerli of Rexburg, Idaho..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Salem Church (3462 N Salem Hwy, Rexburg, ID 83440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem LDS Church (3462 N Salem Hwy, Rexburg, ID 83440).
