He was predeceased by: his parents, Brian Huttinger and LoAnne Strandberg (Thompson); his stepfather Kenny Strandberg; his grandparents, Larry Thompson, Helen Thompson and Kenneth Huttinger; and his cousin Matthew Brandemihl.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark of Pocatello, ID and Connor of Rapid City, SD; his cousin Nathanael; his son Brian of Rexburg, ID; his stepbrother Jesse Strandberg of Mead, CO; and his aunts and uncles, Korre Thompson of Island Park, ID, Monte Thompson (Nancy) of Rapid City, SD, Harlee Thompson (Judy) of Billings, MT, Lana Lukas of Orange, CA, Lorinda Molzhon of Ronan, MT and Melissa Botello (Mike) of Little Rock, AR.
In lieu of flowers, Chris' boys ask that donations be given in Chris' name to North Fremont Grid Kid Football.
