He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Peter and Jane Lorna Mickelsen; his significant other Joan Mickelsen (Summers); his grandson Alan Rawson; his brother Pete Mickelsen; and his children, Lorna Kay Wilding (David) of Salem, Charles Wayne Mickelsen (JoAnn) of Rexburg, Margaret Joy Giles (John) of Idaho Falls and David William Mickelsen (Sherry) of Rigby. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
