He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fransen and Ellis "Ellie" Fransen; and his brothers, Sharon, Kent and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Blake Fransen (Shelley) of Billings and Kasie Cook (Greg) of Rexburg; his grandchildren, Mitch Fransen (Justine) of Idaho Falls, Brandi Benton (Kris) of Twin Falls, Alexandra Cook and Kamryn Cook of Rexburg; his great grandchildren, Allison of Idaho Falls, Scarlett of Idaho Falls and Brooklyn of Idaho Falls; his sister Kathleen Sorenson (Deb) of Iona; and also Haruko Fransen (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
