He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Theophil Schiess and Ila June Steadman; his former wife Sylvia Walborn Schiess; his son Bryan Junkert; his sisters, Carol Cox and Joan Hooten; and his grandson Adam Junkert.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Marie Siepert Schiess of Kilgore; his children, Royce Williams of Logan, Richard Williams (Tracie) of Logan, Robert Schiess (Irada) of Logan, Suzanne Shah (Ali) of Logan, Sheila Hansen of Spokane, Carrie Lystad (Curt) of Spokane, Jessica Bradshaw (Jeremy) of St. Anthony and Edwin Junkert (Kenzie) of Idaho Falls; and his sister Jennie Smith (Reece) of Logan. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
