He was predeceased by: his parents, Nahum Porter and Fonnete Porter; his in-laws, Beth and Arnold Balling; his granddaughter Stevie Lee Stevens; and his brother-in-law David Lemmon (Lyle Saxton).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Balling; his children, Tara (Pete Bellender), Bret (Jody Rasmussen), Steve (Jamie Stevens), Rob (Tonya Weston), Zane (Danielle Porter) and Dick (Autumn Coats); and his siblings, Paula, Steven and Peggy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
