He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Gay Sanderson Thomson; and his sister Susan Thomson. He is survived by: his children, Justin Thomson (Barri) of Preston, Ashley Dawn Thomson of Preston, Skyler Melvin Thomson (Chelsea) of Texas and Shawn R. Thomson (Gina) of Preston; his wife Vicki Thomson of Preston; his father Melvin Gary Thomson of American Falls, Idaho; and his siblings, Lynn Thomson (Peggy) of Arizona, Kirk Thomson (Bobbi) of Pocatello, Idaho, Carol Burnham (Bob) and Karen Gleim (Storm) of Arizona. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
