He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard Marion Rogers and Hannah Elizabeth Chlarson; his former wife MaryAnn Cox; his wife Lois Peterson; his son James Leonard Rogers (Joseph Wagner); and his grandson Jonathon LaVern Sidwell.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Barbra, Donna and Bob; his foster son Joe Wagner; his stepdaughter Brenda; his children, LaVern Lee Rogers (Becky), Vernette Sidwell (Edward) and George Rogers; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Wagner. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
