It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Lamb Johnson Jr. (Preston, Idaho), who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jesse Lamb is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Thomson Gilbert and Jesse Lamb Johnson; his grandson Paden Johnson; and his sisters, Patricia and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Tamra Hawkes; his children, Jesse Nielson Johnson, Roxie Crouch (Blake), Julie Hilton (Allen) and Blake Johnson (Tara); and his sisters, Utahna and BeBe. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Preston 5th Ward Chapel (213 W 200 N, Preston, ID 83263). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
