She was predeceased by: her husband Richard S. Alder; and her brother Max Smedley. She is survived by: her children, Richard Brett Alder, Wendy Lynne Alder, Kip Darrin Alder (Cindy) and Jodi Diana Alder Jones (James); and her siblings, Sue Bruerton and Paul Smedley. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Preston 10th Ward Chapel (155 W 200 N, Preston, ID 83263). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bountiful Utah City Cemetery.
