It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Sharp Olson (Preston, Idaho), who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Fern Sharp Olson to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Alonzo and Luella Sharp (Gregory); her siblings, Elmer Ferrin Sharp, Blanche Newbold, Roma Crockett and Arlene Wanner; and her granddaughter Jessica Rumel (Hurst).

She is survived by: her husband James Forest Olson; her children, Richard James Olson, Lucinda Hewitt (Brian) and Diane Olson (Jim Olsen); her sisters, Roberta Butin and Ivona Axelton (Jim); and her caregiver Taylor. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great-great granddaughters.

Fern quietly left this life on May 14, 2024 in North Ogden after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's disease.
