He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Verlene and Wanda Verlene; his son Corey; his sister Wanda Ransom; and his mother-in-law Sonjia Covert.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Covert Mendenhall; his brothers, Richard and Alan; and his children, Curtis Mendenhall (Michele), Shaylyn Pollard (Troy), Trevor Mendenhall (Ashley), Tyson Mendenhall (Alyssa) and Tennille Doxey (Dillon). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
