He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Montgomery and Mayme Montgomery of Potlatch Id; and his brother Mark Montgomery. He is survived by: his brothers, Ernie Montgomery (Nancy), Paul Montgomery (Jeanette), John Montgomery and Darrel Johnson of Minnesota.

Any memorial donation may be made to the Potlatch Ambulance.
