With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Akins of Potlatch, Idaho, born in Lead Hill, Arkansas, who passed away on October 14, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd G. Akins and Effie Akins (Luellen); his siblings, Alta Lynch, Nettie Brown, Otto Akins, W. O. Akins, Andrew Akins and Arlis Akins; his wife Irene Akins; his children, Steve Akins (Valerie), Kim Finger (Joel) and Dan Akins (Amber); and his brother E. G. Akins. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Potlatch Fire and Ambulance Fund, Box 63, Potlatch, ID. 83855 Kramer Funeral Home of Palouse, Washington is caring for the family.
