He is survived by: his wife Louise Varner; his children, Rod Varner, Dan Varner, Lee Varner (Ann) and Sarah Burton (Dave); his grandchildren, Christopher Varner, Matthew Varner (Jenna), Kathryn Varner Schultz (Jonathan), Aaron Burton and Laura Burton; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Caleb, Shiloh (Schultz), Leo and Ada (Varner).
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (1011 N Compton St, Post Falls, ID 83854).
