He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lancour and Blanche Lancour (Hobbs); and his siblings, Dwight, Pete, Ralph, Lawrence, Danny Lancour, Joyce Ketola, Blanche Latvala, Margaret Blake, Dorothy Dupont and Marilyn.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Kevin and Kristen Thompson (Lee); his grandchildren, Troy Lancour, Jocelyn Thompson and Kahrena Thompson; and his stepgranddaughter Jame Alluisi.
