It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin James Corey (Post Falls, Idaho), born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Roy Corey and Fannie Corey; his wife Joy Corey; his children, Kathryn Corey, Tony Charles and Mary Charles; his brothers, Richard and Daniel Corey; his grandson John; his children, Douglas, Kell and Hannah; his grandchildren, Genevieve, Seraphima, Melania and Samuel; his daughter Lydia; his grandchildren, Fanourios and Theodore; and his sons, Nicholas, Jonah and John. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy can be conveyed through contributions to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, which Ed helped to both establish and build, and that has always remained close to his heart.
