He was predeceased by: his parent Arvella Stoddard Smith; his sons, Richard Smith and Donald Smith; and his brother Bert Smith. He is survived by: his wife Neline Bringhurst; and his children, Michael Smith (Maria) of Pocatello and Tonya Carlson of Pocatello. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
