He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Louise (William John Chandler) and Bob; his brother Bill Chandler; his daughter Aimee Moyer; and his grandson Christian Chandler.

He is survived by: his sister Elyse Laree (James Harper); his sons, David DeVern (Cindy) of Evanston and Jason John Chandler (Ane) of Portland; his wife Dianna; his grandchildren, Chanteal, Joshua, Taylor Moyer, Justin Chandler, Reed, Robert and Max Chandler; and his great grandchildren, Saben, Hunter and Jade Moyer.
